KISHTWAR, May 6: A youth leader and chairman, Chinar Power Projects Workers Union District Kishtwar, Joginder Bhandari, in his statement has demanded immediate completion of work upon Drangdroo Dachhan road which is hanging for the last two years.
Bhandari informed that the execution of Dachhan road had been assigned to PWD Spl Sub – Division Marwah in the year 1983 but since a long period has been elapsed but the said road has not yet been completed as a result of which the people of this far flung are continuously suffering a lot.
He said that the people of Dachhan cast their votes only for getting the said road completed but it is a matter of great concern that since the induction of MLA Kishtwar in the council of Ministry in 2014 , the work upon the said road stands suspended for which the people of the area were suffering badly.
Bhandari has strongly criticised the MoS ST and Transport for not fulfilling his commitments made with the people of Dachhan during the election campaign regarding completion of the said road.
