Exhibition of Art by women artists concludes

JAMMU, Nov 21: An international exhibition of Art by Women Artists (Online) organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu which was inaugurated on November 1 concluded today.
Art work by women artists of ten countries was put on display in this exhibition curated by O.P Sharma, Founder Director JKCCA.
Speaking on the occasion Sharma said that the exhibition drew attention of a number of artists and the media.
He hailed the participation of women artists to make the show a grand success and said that JKCCA is committed to promote and preserve art, culture and languages in future also.
JKCCA Founder Director informed that artists of Sweden, USA, Bangladesh, UK, Thailand, Australia, Qatar, South Africa, Turkey, Vietnam and India have participated in the show.
It may be recalled that since its establishment in 1999 JKCCA has been contributing in the promotion of art, culture and literature in different corners of the country. It has organized eight international art exhibitions and a number of national and state level art exhibitions and art camps during its existence. JKCCA has now become a prominent NGO in J&K working under Pt. Kewal K Sharma, President JKCCA.
