SAMBA, Sept 27: In order to curb the menace of illegal distillation and sale of illicit liquor, the sleuths of Excise Department, Excise Range Samba led by Susheel Kumar, Excise Inspector under the supervision of Tina Mahajan ETO, Excise Range Samba conducted a series of raids at Ramgarh, Radhwa, Nandpur and adjoining areas of Vijaypur.
During the raids 70 kgs of Lahan was recovered and destroyed on spot. These raids were conducted under directives of Tsering Angchok, Excise Commissioner and Naginder Singh Jamwal, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) Jammu.
