JAMMU, Feb 6: The Excise Department, J&K, in coordination with the J&K Bank, conducted two-day training programme at the Excise & Taxation Training Institute, Nagrota to sensitize the prospective bidders with the procedure and criteria for bidding process for allotment of JKEL-2 vends ( Wine Shops) and to clear their queries about e- auction procedure.
Expert team of the Excise Department and J&K Bank at the venue cleared the doubts of the prospective bidders with regard to eligibility, mode of allotment, requisite documents, participation/EMD and Minimum Reserve Bid Price etc.
Considering the response and for further facilitation of the prospective bidders, the department is holding another pre-bid meeting at the same venue on February 7 at 4:00 PM, said a spokesperson of the department.
Also, for the convenience of bidders, not stationed at Jammu, online facility has been made available for their participation in the meeting. Additionally, a departmental helpline number has also been set up to resolve the doubts of the prospective bidders, added the spokesperson.
