RAJOURI, Mar 10: Jammu and Kashmir State Teachers Association, Rajouri and Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation, Rajouri have raised strong concern over the violation of examination norms in conduct of Secondary School Examination, 2013.
Addressing a joint press conference here today, the district president of JKSTA Tanveer Shawl and JKLTF, Vijay Sharma, raised strong voice against the violation of examination norms for the conduct of Secondary School Examination 2013.
Shawl said that his organization staged a protest in the Rajouri sub-office of J&K State Board of School Education on March 4, 2013 to oppose the repetition of certain faces who have been continuously performing the examination duties for last several  years  in connivance with JKBOSE sub-office Rajouri whether it is Elementary Teacher Examination or Secondary School Examination or Practical examinations due to which various doubts had been created among the students, parents and visionary teachers.
“The Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rajouri, Sachin Singh who rushed to the protest spot had issued on spot instructions to the Asst. Secretary that there should be no repetition of the examination staff particularly Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents and the examination norms as laid by the JKBOSE should be strictly observed”, he said, adding despite that the repeatents were again appointed in the current SSE.
There are so many complaints from various places regarding the repetetions of the examination staff. Moreover, the duties have been allotted irrespective of the cadre as certain teachers have also been appointed as Deputy Superintendents at various centres ignoring thousands of the Senior Master Grade Persons, Shawl said.
Both the associations appealed Education Minister, Tara Chand, Chairman, JKBOSE and Director School Education, Jammu to immediately cancel the duties of all the repeated superintendents to ensure the credibility of the examination.
