RAJOURI, Feb 15: Ex-policemen Welfare League has demanded hike in Medical Allowance and reimbursement of Medical bills of the retired police officials.
In a meeting of the League held here today under the chairmanship of Om Parkash Sharma, district president, the retired policemen projected their demands. They are demanding hike in the Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month, re-imbursement of Medical bills of ex-policemen and 15 % reservation for the wards of retired Police personnel in the recruitment quota. About 40 retired police officers participated in the meeting.
