Ex-Police Personnel Welfare League holds meet

RAJOURI, June 15: Ex-Police Personnel Welfare League held a meeting under the chairmanship of Dev Raj Sharma, in which large number of retired police personnel took part.
During the meeting, various problems being faced by the retired police personnel were discussed.
While speaking, Dev Raj Sharma said that necessary aid of Rs 30,000 may be given to the retired police personnel on the marriage of their daughters, Revenue Department services of experienced retired police officer may be utilized at police station and they may be given wages from welfare fund.
“Give priority to the wards of the retired police personnel in the police recruitment, so that they will be employed”, he added.
Sharma added that in the time to come they will meet DG Police and apprise him about the problems being faced the retired police personnel for early redressal.
