NOWSHERA, Dec 24: Former MLC and chief spokesperson PCC Ravinder Sharma joined the protest dharna of daily wagers of PHE and Irrigation department at Nowshera and fully supported their demands for release of wages of 48 months and regularization of eligible workers.
Sharma joined the dharna and fully supported their demands and urged upon the Governor administration to accept their most genuine demands. He said that it is unfortunate that these workers are without wages and they are performing their duties in different wings and departments but the Government has failed to implement its own SRO 520 and failed to pay regular wages.
He said that BJP made false claims and instead of solving the problem of daily wagers, it prolonged their issues. He assured them that Congress party is fully support their genuine demands and take up the matter with the Government.
