POONCH, May 6: Former Member Legislative Assembly, Poonch and Provincial president of Youth National Conference, Ajaz Jan has expressed his concern over the unavailability of staff in newly upgraded Higher Secondary schools of district Poonch.
In a press statement here today, Jan said that recently some schools of District Poonch were upgraded by State Governor Administration. They included High Schools- Fatehpur, Jhulas, Arai, Seri Khawaja and Hari. But it is a matter of regret that till date authorities have failed to provide even the minimum staff required to run higher classes there.
The students have been admitted in the schools in the current session and half of the session is already over but till now they haven’t even had a single class of their respective subjects due to the lack of administrative attention of the department, Jan said.
The former MLA further said that parents of these students are also very much worried and concerned about the future of their wards.
Jan strongly demanded that the staff must be provided to these disadvantageous schools without any further delay.
