KISHTWAR, Sept 17: Kishtwar Police today apprehended another absconder an ex militant, who was evading arrest the last 20 years.
On a specific information received through reliable sources, a special police team of PS Marwah was constituted. The team led by SHO Marwah Parvaiz Ahmed under the supervission of SDPO Marwah Nisar Ahmed Khoja raided the suspected locations and arrested the absconder.
The arrested absconder has been identified as Abdul Gani alias Mavia son of Abdul Aziz Sheikh of Rar Marwah Kishtwar, wanted in case FIR No. 42/2001 U/Sec. 302, 364/ RPC 7/27 IA Act registered at Police Station Marwah. The absconder was produced before the Court in Kishtwar and lodged in judicial custody.
