Estates employees demand Deptt’s re-organisation

JAMMU, Mar 17: All J&K Estates Employees have demanded   reorganization of the department.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of Prem Singh Bawa (president), the members discussed their pending demands. They said previously, it was done during 1973 and since then, there was no such exercise seen in the department.
They also demanded conduct of DPC of all the cadre in time, regularization of daily wagers, release of salary and other arrears of the employees, settlement of SRO-43 cases, time bound promotions of the employees, framing of new recruitment rules and release of wages of the workers in time.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included- Tilak Raj, Puran Chand, Mahinder Lal, Balwinder, Mulakh Raj, Kuldip Raj and Subhash Chander.
