JAMMU, Mar 15: J&K Coordination Committee of Estate Employees, Jammu, has announced to hold protest demonstrations on March 19, 24 and 25 if its demands are not conceded.
A decision in this regard was taken during an executive body meeting of the Coordination Committee, held under the leadership of Prem Singh Baba and Yash Paul Sharma.
“If the demands of employees are not considered, we will have no option than to observe a token strike on March 19, which will be followed by two day strike on March 24-25”, the meet resolved and highlighted the demands, which included re-organization of Estate Department, provision of two and half day extra pay, regularization of daily wagers, time bound promotion, holding of DPC, transfer policy, issuance of appointment order under SRO-43 cases, etc.
The meeting was attended by Talk Raj, Puran Chand, Rashpal Lal, Rajinder Singh, Jeet Raj, Shamboo Singh, Subash Chander, Ravi Kumar and others.
