JAMMU, Dec 19: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented a nukkad ‘Refftaar Kumm Karo’ in its Monday Theatre Series near famous Chichi Mata temple in Samba district.
‘Refftaar Kumm Karo’ is a progressive nukkad of Vijay Malla for our young generation who drive their motorbikes with unlimited speed without following norms and rules of traffic.
As the story opens, Ravi, a student of Class 9th asks his parents to get a motorbike for him. Ravi creates a problem for his parents. Ravi’s younger sister, Minu, is intelligent and she is totally against Ravi’s demand and explains Ravi that being underage he cannot drive any kind of vehicle till he attains proper age for driving with proper licenses.
She tries hard to convince Ravi to let up his demand of getting a motorbike but all in vain. Finally, Ravi’s grandfather intervenes and informs Ravi that today a minor boy who was driving bike met with an accident, as he lost control on his speeding bike.
He further informed that the bike was sealed by authorities and the boy despite of some minor injuries was taken to police station along with his parents. Moreover, a big fine was imposed and his parents were given warning for this illegal act.
Hearing grandfather’s words, Ravi loses his temptation for bike and realizes that his demand is not genuine. He promises his grandfather and sister that he will never demand a bike before he attains the legal age for driving.
The nukkad is warning for those parents who encourage their minor children for driving bikes.
