JAMMU, Apr 25: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with BLSKS presented Vijay Malla’s acclaimed nukkad “Hawa Badalnee Hougi” in its Monday Theatre series at Floriculture Department’s park near KC Morh, here today.
“Hawa Badalnee Hougi” is a progressive nukkud for those young people who are drug addicted. The nukkad is an eye opener for such people, motivating them to change their habits for the better progress of their future.
The nukkud was supported by ESRM’s famous nukkud song “jago bandu jago bahyya paar luga dey apni nayya”.
The story revolves around a genius student, Gulshan. His family is proud of him. Gulshan even helps his younger sisters and brothers in their studies. One day all of a sudden his younger sisters notices that her brother has developed a bad habit of drug addiction. This comes as a shocking news for Gulshan’s parents also. They are in a state of mental depression and are worried for him.
They try their best to convince Gulshan to shun the bad habit of taking drugs but all in vain. Finally, they approach a saint whom they request to save their son. The saint visits their house and counsels Gulshan and ultimately convinces him.
Gulshan then takes oath before his family members that in future he will not take drug, he will change his habits.
Actors who acted in the play were Qurat-ul-Ain, Nazuk Bhagat, Raju Mad, Prafel Sharma, Paras Chrungoo, Rahul Dev and Vijay Malla.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Anuroop Pathania.
