ESIC Model Hospital starting ‘Infertility Clinic’

JAMMU, July 26: In today’s lightning-fast lifestyle, the cases of infertility are on the rise due to excessive work-related stress, irregular eating habits and various other reasons. There are  host of factors responsible for infertility. It could be congenital, hereditary (in some cases), a result of any internal injury or many other reasons. There are millions of couples who’re facing the prickly issue called infertility. The bright side is that many couples with fertility problems have gone-on to have babies after the clinical treatment.
ESIC Model Hospital, Bari Brahmana, Jammu is undergoing one such special Clinic Initiative by the Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr Payal Gupta and her team under the banner ‘Infertility Clinic’ on every working Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Room No. 66, and launching of Family Welfare Clinic every working Friday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm under the guidance of Medical Superintendent, Dr Sunil Prabhakar Deshpande.
This will help the couples navigate smoothly through the often complicated process of infertility curation and ultimately fulfill their dream of parenthood. It is the noble objective of our team to provide the ESIC beneficiaries with the congruous skills to address infertility. ESIC Model Hospital, Bari Brahmana will introduce one-to-one counseling sessions which involve comprehensive analysis of patient’s reports and brain-storming discussion on the range of suitable treatment plans according to the patient’s problem.
Fixed Day Static (FDS) approach is being promoted for both temporary and permanent methods in order to achieve twin objective of achieving population stabilization and in providing quality of services. Pregnant women are being counseled for PPIUCD during the ante-natal check-ups.
All investigations and treatment will be done free of cost for the ESIC beneficiaries.
