JAMMU, Mar 1: Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Shamsher Singh Manhas reiterated that development work in State would be executed on fast track basis. He said Prime Minister Narinder Modi is taking keen interest to develop Jammu and Kashmir on modern lines.
Speaking at the function while laying the foundation stone of community hall near Ravi Dass temple at Ward No 60 at Paloura, near here today, Manhas said that BJP is committed to the upliftment of the society and strengthening the social fabric by providing equitable development. He said this construction of hall will cater the basic requirement of economically weaker sections of the society.
Manhas reiterated that he is committed for overall development of the State. He said that many development works have been started and utilized funds for people’s welfare. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started many welfare schemes for people of India. He asked people of State to join hands for development and social upliftment of society and without people’s supports he alone cannot fulfill the aspirations of people of Jammu province.
He said State Government too has initiated many development works and schemes. He asked the people to get benefit of the welfare schemes started by the Central and State government. Govt has initiated many ways to make people aware about the schemes so that maximum people can avail be benefit. Manhas said recently a three day exhibition Jammu and Kashmir vision 2017 has been organized for awareness among the masses where many stalls provided the detail information about the schemes and programmes launched by the Central Government.
