JAMMU, Nov 17: EPFO Regional Office, Jammu today organized an award ceremony for best performing employees of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
Special invitee of the programme was Anil Batra (AGM, BSNL) who was welcomed by Rizwan Uddin (Regional PF Commissioner-I).
Sanjeev Kumar (SSSA), Chiranji Lal Sharma (SS) and Dharmendra Kumar (SSSA) were awarded best employees in RO Srinagar, RO Jammu and RO Ladakh, respectively. All the three officials have been attending the office in “Flexi-Hours”.
Sanjeev Kumar, who has been the first employee to attend office in the morning shift (by 6:20 AM), shouldered responsibilities on many occasions when the office needed his services. He volunteered to work on Saturdays and Sundays and settled a record number of claims (819 claims) in single day.
Chiranji Lal Sharma, who settled maximum number of claims within three days, was selected as best employee in EPFO Jammu. He has also been consistently attending the office before 7:00 AM and has been a regular performer. The P F Commissioner, while appreciating the efforts of the employees also awarded Dharmendra Kumar (SSSA) who was handling accounts related work of RO, Ladakh.
All other officials who worked in flexi-hours and managed the claims within reasonable limits were also awarded.
Meanwhile, a programme was also organized to mark the conclusion of “Hindi Pakhwada” witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and staff of the region who participated in various activities such as ‘Vichar Pratiyogita’, ‘Nibandh Pratiyogita’, Tippan and Aalekhan Pratiyogita’ to promote the usage of Hindi in official communications of the office.
The winners of the competitive programmes held during “Hindi Pakhwada-2023” were felicitated during the event by dignitaries present in the event.
