EPFO Jammu conducts ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ for stakeholders

JAMMU, Oct 11: “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” for the month of October 2021 was conducted today by EPFO Jammu for the stakeholders of J&K and Ladakh.
Number of employers as well employees appeared in “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” Programme. The EPFO officials settled claims besides addressing grievances of the stakeholders.
According to Munish Sharma, his claim was settled within a day while Gurjinder Singh’s grievance also got redressed as his claim could not be settled due to wrong KYC and the amount was returned from bank, which got credited to his PF Account.
Renu from SVS Talab Tillo approached PF Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin with request to update her date of birth and the same got approved. KYS and parentage of several stakeholders were ALSO updated during `Nidhi apke Nikat’ programme.
Representative from Lawrence School, Sidhra was trained to fill up ECR. Employer’s representatives from Patnitop Development Authority, Army School Akhnoor, The Himalayan Mail, CNC Hospital took part in the “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” Programme in Jammu and were trained to fill up the returns electronically.
EPFO Jammu is servicing the entire area (J&K and Ladakh) from Jammu with regard to settlement of claims. Considering the large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at doorstep, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and COVID-19 advance claims and members’ basic details were explained with hands on demonstration.
