BARAMULLA: A fierce encounter between security forces and armed militants took place at Bandibala Sultanpora in Kandi area of Baramulla, here today.
Approximately four to five militants of Lashker-e-Toiba are believed to be zeroed in the encounter, which was still going on till last reports came in. Jawans of 52-RR, 19-Mahar and SOG Baramulla are on the job, reports said.
