JAMMU, Apr 21: The Government today constituted an Empowerment Committee for the implementation of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) Plan for the project affected families of 330 MW Kishanganga Hydro-electric Power project .
Official sources said that Chief Secretary is the chairman of this 15-member committee. The other members are: Administrative Secretary, Planning and Development Department; Secretary Forest Department; Secretary PDD; Divisional Commissioner Kashmir; Adm Secretary, Finance Deptt; Adm Secretary Public Works (R&B) Deptt; Adm Secretary Housing and Urban Development Deptt; Secretary Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Deptt; Secretary PHE, I&FC Deptt; Secretary RDD; MD J&K PDC; Chief Engineer EM&RE Wing, Kashmir: Dy Commissioner Bandipur and Special Invitee/ exert as decided by the chairman.
