The other terms and conditions as laid down vide this office notice issued under endorsement No. SSB/ /Sel/Secy/2014/325-38 dated 10.01.2015 shall remain the same.

Press Release
This is in response to a news item that appeared in the Daily Excelsior, dated 13th January, 2015, under the heading “Holding of interviews at Jammu demanded”. In this context, it is to be clarified that the written examination for the posts of Teachers and Lab Assistants (both Migrant and Non-migrant) notified in terms of Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2012 and 10 of 2013 under fast track programme, was held at Srinagar. These posts are District Cadre Posts and the interview of such posts, as per the rule position envisaged in SRO 375, dated 21.10.2010, read with notification dated 22.07.2013 are to be conducted by the following committee
“Chairman or a Member of the Services Selection Board (Convener), A District Level Officer of the indenting Department to be nominated by the Chairman of the Board (Member) and one officer of the Concerned Department to be nominated by the Chairman of the Board (Member)”
Since the basic qualification and the posts are of same nature, the examination as well as the interview was clubbed together just to save the time and to fast track/ speed-up the process so that posts could be filled up within the shortest possible time. Further, the posts (in question) involve both Migrant quota posts and Non-migrant District Cadre posts spread in all the ten districts of Kashmir Division (except Leh and Kargil), and the candidates shortlisted for these posts, are to be interviewed by the specific district level committees, hence holding the interviews for Migrant and Non-migrant posts separately will definitely prolong the selection process for months together. Besides, in doing so, the district level officers involved in the committees from all Districts of Kashmir Division will have to move to Jammu, thereby, hampering the other developmental activities of the district also.

Whereas, selection list of Junior Assistant received in this office duly conveyed by SSRB Jammu in response to Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2011 dated 31-01-2011 at Item No. 822 wherein (05) candidate(s) were shown in the select list and the same was published in the local newspaper vide this office Notice No. CEOU/6160-63 dated 20-06-2014 and the same was published in state Times Dated 27 June, 2014 DIP/J-1913/14 dated 26-06-2014 wherein the candidates are directed to submit the relevant documents in the office of undersigned within 21 days.
Whereas, out of (05) five selected candidates only one candidate has submitted his documents in reference to above notification. Again notice was served vide this office Notice No.CEOU/8971-74 dated 24-7-2014 to the rest of candidates to submit their documents within weeks time in reference to said notification and was published in State Times Dated 31st July, 2014 DIP/J- 2854/14 dated 28-07-2014.
Whereas, none of the selected candidates has submitted their documents in response to said notification. However final notice was also served vide Notice No. Notice CEOU/10226-29 dated 07-08-2014 to submit their documents within 03 days and was published in Daily Excelsior Dated 10 August, 2014 DIP/J-3221 dated 09-08-2014. Again no candidate(s) has submitted their documents in response to final notice. The names of the candidates are given as under.-

Whereas, as the requisite approval was conveyed by the administrative Department to operate wait list of Junior Assistant, District Cadre Udhampur and issue appointment order in their favour against vacancy become available due to non joining of the candidates after fulfilling codal formalities vide letter No. Edu-II/79/2010/Sel dated 13-10-2014 and the same was duly endorsed to this office by Director School Education Jammu vide letter No. DSEJ/Gen/18041 dated 17-10-2014.
