Employees United Front formed with Bhupinder as Chairman

JAMMU, Sept 5: Different employees’ organizations today unanimously elected senior trade union leader and UT President of JK Teachers Association Bhupinder Singh as Chairman of JKUT Employees United Front.
Asif Ali Bhatt was elected as President, Kamala Sharma as Senior Vice President, Sohan Lal as Vice President, Davinder Singh as General Secretary, Rohit Seth as Chief organizer, Rajinder Sharma and Subhash Sharma as Advisors , Joginder Dingra as Secretary, Kuldeep Chand as Cashier, Surinder Singh as Joint Secretary and Jaswant Singh as Media Secretary.
Speaking to reporters, newly elected Chairman of Employees United Front, Bhupinder Singh said that the JK UT Employees United Front would fight for four genuine demands of the employees which include; equal pay for equal work , regularization policy for NYCs, NRHM , MG NREGA employees, Home Guards, REZ, REK, Daily wagers, casual labourers and other temporary employees, restoration of old Pension Scheme and benefit of pay grade to employees of JK UT at par with the employees of other Union Territories.
Bhupinder Singh appealed the Government to discuss these four demands at the earliest and resolve the same. Other leaders of the United Front also appealed to the Government to resolve these four main demands of employees within short span of time otherwise employees would be forced to take to the streets.
