Srinagar, Oct 21: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC-R) today held a protest against the Government for “betraying” over four lakhs of its employees by not implementing the agreement of demands signed between the two.
Ram Kumar, State president of his faction of employees, said the employees condemned the Government’s statement recently made in the Legislative Assembly which “was false and fabricated.”
“We want that the Government stops its repressive measures against the employees or else the employees will take to streets,” Kumar said, while addressing about 60 employees of his faction.
He said the employees’ leaders will hold a conference in December to form a united platform to seek demands from the Government.
