JAMMU, Feb 15: The two delegations of employees from Valley led by Abdul Majid Khan president All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation called on Sham Lal Sharma, Minister of PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control and MD Power Development Corporation respectively.
The delegation which called on Mr Sham Lal included Abdul Rashid Bhat district president LPEF Anantnag and PHE Employees Anantnag, Mohammed Shafi Wani, Abdul Hamid Wani and Mohammed Rafiq. The demanded rationalization of pay scale in revised set up. The Minister informed them that in this regard the process has already been initiated and the orders will be issued soon.
The delegation which called on MD, SPDC included Javed Ahmed Shah and Mohammed Shaban. It demanded settlement of pension cases of PDC employees, orders for regularization of daily wagers, framing of rules and norms of PDC, designation as per assignment, deputation allowance for PDC employees, holding of DPC and filling up of vacant posts, creation of posts in generation Division UPSH II and settlement of other demands of move employees of PDC.
