BANGALORE, June 19: US-based critical IT infrastructure provider Emerson Network Power today announced an alliance with city-based NxtGen, a leader in data center and cloud technology, to offer Smart Solution deployments for the businesses.
Through this pact, NxtGen would work with customers to deploy Emerson’s ‘SmartCabinet’ and ‘SmartRow’ offerings from the Smart Solutions family.
Emerson’s Smart Solution delivers software, hardware and services that maximise availability, capacity and efficiency for data centres, healthcare and industrial facilities.
Speaking to reporters, Emerson India President and MD Sunil Khanna said the company had built strong partnerships in the past that helped it become a major player in medium and large-size data center infrastructure market in the country.
‘In line with the market’s preparedness for rapidly deployable solutions for the data center, our focus is on improving the time-to-market. This partnership with NxtGen to deliver our Smart Solutions to business across the country is a strong move in this direction,’ he said.
The two partners will now offer modular and highly energy efficient design and enable 24×7 proactive monitoring and support to customers which the competition has not been able to, he said.
NxtGen Managing Director A S Rajgopal said most organisations’ core operations run on IT platforms placed in data centers and their availability determines major business outcomes.
‘Companies increasingly are becoming cost conscious. Emerson’s Smart Solutions along with NxtGen’s OPDC services are a winning combination for our customers. We provide build as you need solutions with high efficiency and high availability IT infrastructure,’ he added. (UNI)
