LOS ANGELES, Aug 1: Singer Ellie Goulding says she behaved like a “blubbering fool” during Bradley Cooper’s performance in “The Elephant Man”.
The 28-year-old singer, who went to see the West End theatre show in London, starring the Cooper, 41, in the lead role as severely deformed man Joseph Merrick, was touched by his performance.
“Met the (incredible) cast and was a blubbering fool… Very moving performances. Cried lots. New found respect for Bradley Cooper,” she tweeted.
Goulding’s theatre trip was a surprise planned by her boyfriend Dougie Poynter.
The singer also posted photograph of herself smiling during the interval.
“My surprise was being brought to see The Elephant Man!” she wrote. (PTI)
