LOS ANGELES, Aug 5: ‘Lord of the Rings’ star Elijah Wood is the latest to join the starcast of supernatural action movie ‘The Last Witch Hunter’ which already has Vin Diesel and Michael Caine.
The film is directed by Breck Eisner’s thriller and also stars ‘Game of Thrones’ beauty Rose Leslie.
The story revolves around an immortal witch hunter (Diesel) who partners with a witch to stop New York City’s covens from unleashing a plague on the city.
Wood’s recent roles include ‘Grand Piano’ and ‘Maniac’. Wood next appears in ‘Set Fire To The Stars’ as poet John Brinni.
‘Last Witch Hunter’ is produced by Mark Canton, Bernie Goldmann and Diesel. (PTI)
