Elected Legislators

Sir,
We need realistic and practical laws for the common man and for the growth of our overall economy. Let us restore faith in the idea of a truly democratic India. For a vibrant democracy, a clean legislature is needed. The opposition should utilise Parliament or Assemblies for constructive debates. Parliament is not a place for showdown. Elected legislators should ensure that they perform on the path designated for them by constitution makers. Disruptions are not the way forward. Legislators should remember that public is watching them. Our parliamentarians need to take a dignified stance and give a patient hearing to one and all. Mischievous and non performing politicians should not be sent to Parliament. Unruly politicians who misbehave constantly in Parliament or Assemblies  should be heavily penalised. All lawmakers in our country should examine and analyse the significance of Parliament and behave accordingly.
