RAJOURI, Oct 7: An elderly villager allegedly committed suicide in Taryath area of Kalakote today.
The police identified the deceased as Rikhi Ram (62). Son of Lal Chand, resident of Teryath in district Rajouri. He was found hanging with a rope in cattle shed of his house in the morning. The family members saw him hanging and informed police. The police reached the spot and after conducting postmortem at Taryath hospial, the body was handed over to the family. The police has started investigation under Section 174 CrPC.
