EJAC takes up pay anomaly issue with Advisor

JAMMU, Dec 19: J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has urged upon the Advisor to the Governor to remove the pay anomalies in the grades of clerical cadre and enhance medical allowance of the employees and pensioners from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 without any more delay.
A deputation of the EJAC-R, led by state president, Babu Hussain Malik, called on the Governor’s Advisor, KK Sharma here the other day, and projected their long pending issues. They demanded removal of pay anomalies in the grades of clerical cadre / make amendment in SRO 333, regularization of Local Fund casual employees of Higher Education department in different colleges, daily wagers/ contractual and casual workers, enhancement of wages of Anganwari workers, hike in Medical allowance of employees and pensioners to Rs 3000 pm, revocation/ review of Medical Insurance Policy and conduct of DPC of all cadre on time.
Prominent among those who accompanied the deputation included – Sewa Ram Rathore, Kulwant Singh Sambyal, Hilal Ahmed Khan, Ansuya Gupta, Naresh Kumar, US Pathania, Wahid Zargar, Anil Dogra, Subhash Chander and Laksh Verma.
