EJAC (R) discusses issues of employees

JAMMU, June 29: A meeting of J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (R) was held, here today under the presidium of Babu Hussain Malik and others for discussing the issues to be highlighted during the one-day State level convention of EJAC (R) at Lal Mandi Srinagar on July 2.
The meeting held a threadbare discussion on agenda of the meeting, which include removal of pay anomalies of Clerical Cadre/Amendment in SRO-333, two increments to Junior/Senior Assistants on clearing the Secretariat Assistant Examination as per past practice, revocation of SRO-520 and SRO 30 of GAD of 2019, enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 5000/ per month, regularization of Daily Wagers/Casual Labourers/Contractual Labourers, Contractual, creation of separate department of Clerical cadre, abolishing SRO-202 Teachers/Lecturers, ReTs and others, five days a week office timings outside Civil Secretariat and 10 percent SDA for the employees working in Ladakh region and restoration of reservation in promotion.
All members in one voice appealed to the Governor to redress the genuine grievances of the employees at all level and warned that they would be forced to take to streets if no action is taken on their demands.
The meeting was attended by Yashpal Sharma, Kulwant Singh Sambyal, Hari Singh, Amar Nath Thakur, Satish Dutta, Seva Ram Rathore, Anil Singh Slathia, Naresh Kumar, Bhupinder Singh, Hafiz-ul-Rehman, Vikas Chander, Vijay Sharma, Munish Sharma, Younis Rahi, Ashok Singh Ansuiya Gupta and others.
