EJAC projects issues before Chief Secy

JAMMU, Aug 11: A delegation of Employees Joint Action Committee met Chief Secretary JKUT at Civil Secretariat Srinagar.
Led by president, Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam, the delegation raised several issues confronted by the employees of JKUT and also presented a charter of demands concerning the employees.
The main issues projected included, implementation of agreement dated 08.07.2021 reached between the High Power Committee and the JCC/ EJAC, regularization of all types of temporary workers, implementation of the Minimum Wages Act in J&K, regularization of PHE, ITI Employees under SRO 64 as their appointment is on genuine / official grounds and removal of SRO 520, regulation of services of CAMPA workers, implementation of 7th Pay Commission for JK Cement employees, grant of Rs 7450-225-11500 (pre-revised) grade to all the employees working in the grade of 6500-10500 (pre-revised) on the analogy of Section Officers vide SRO 259 dated 18-07-2007 and Assistant Accounts Officers as already agreed in the agreement, waive off DPC and Vigilance clearance for in-situ promotion cases etc.
