Srinagar, Dec 15: Employees Joint Action Committee has said that the employees would not compromise over the pending issues of the agreement and is seriously thinking over a new strategy in getting the agreement implemented through democratic means which is the right of employees.
EJAC President Abdul Qayoom Wani in a statement said that it held a meeting in Jammu which was attended by its top leaders.
The participants have expressed their anguish over the cruel orders like suspension and no work no wages to the striking employees.
“The inhuman and undemocratic draconian orders passed for stopping salaries of the employees have made hundreds of families suffer in these hard days. We fully support these employees. Our employees should keep their moral high and be united to fight the draconian orders,” the statement quoted Wani.
EJAC blamed some people at the helm of affairs for misleading their higher- ups resulting in confrontation.
Among other leaders who attended the meeting were Amrik Singh, Ganesh Khajuria, Mohd Afzal Bhat, Bharat Bhushan Kotwal, Narinder Singh Jamwal, Nusrat Ahmed Beig, Darshan Singh, Rajesh Khajuria, and Satish Dutta.
