JAMMU, June 24: Eight people were injured in a road mishap at Jammu -Pathankote National Highway near Kartholi Gas Plant in Bari Brahmana area today.
According to police a super fast Bus bearing number JK21 G -0097 was hit by a tralla which was coming towards Highway from a link road near Kartholi. The bus turned turtle on the road and it was then hit by a tipper which was on its way from Kathua to Jammu resulting into the injury to seven passengers and driver of the bus.
The injured were shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment where their condition is stated to be out of danger. The Bari Brahmana Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law.
The injured were identified Dharam Veer, 45, S/o Ram Charan of Gerhar Chadwal, Sohan Lal 38, S/o Tunda Ram of Vijaypur, driver of the bus Ravi Kumar, 43, S/o Des Raj, R/o Kathua, Bushan Lal 65, S/o Relu Ram of Samba, Shama Devi, 45, W/o Chuni Lal of Samba, Sansar Chand, 65 S/o Bachitru Ram of Ramgarh, Kanta Devi, 60, W/o Late Chunni Lal of Vijaypur and Sonika Sangral, 22, D/o Darshan Sangral of Jakh.
