Educational reforms

Sir,
Fertility of a land is determined by quantity or quality of products it delivers. So are our educational institutions. With commercialisation of education, the private sector seems to have gone ahead and obviously even masses are much inclined to send their children in private schools at distant places no matter Govt schools are at a stone’s throw. Consequently, enrolment in these schools is getting lesser and lesser. Here, it need to be debated as to why our Govt schools are losing charm and attraction despite ample facilities provided by the Govt. Since Govt. schools provide employment opportunities and the fact that the masses can’t afford to meet the rising fees structure of private schools, certain reforms  and streamlining of the system is dire need of the time to make them result oriented in terms of quality education required in the present globalised society.
