JAMMU, Nov 28: The Enforcement Directorate today attached properties worth Rs 1.21 crore of former Minister and Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan Party (DSSP) supremo Lal Singh in a money laundering case.
The attached properties were 84 kanals and nine marlas land worth Rs 65.46 lakh, 48 kanals six marlas land at the cost of Rs 33.01 lakh and 35 kanals land valued at Rs 27.73 lakh.
Attached properties include parts of two colleges and a school having total value of Rs 1.21 crore at village Karandi in Kathua district. Attachment order was issued today by the Deputy Director, Enforcement Directorate Jammu.
It may be mentioned here that Lal Singh was last week granted interim bail by the court after spending nearly 18 days in the ED custody and jail.
Her wife Kanta Andotra, former MLA, is chairperson of M/s RB Education Trust which is involved in money laundering case.
