NEW DELHI: Under relentless attack for economic slowdown, the Law Minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday said that most of the problems are due to “global factors” and maintained that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led dispensation is committed to restoring the economy to ‘good health’.
“….India continues to enjoy the thrust of global investors,” Prasad told reporters here shortly after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said Indian economy under the Prime Minister is today “a basket case”.
“Our Government is committed to restoring the economy into good health. We have already taken many measures like pumping in Rs 70,000 crore for addressing NPA issues,” Prasad said.
