Dy CLP leader’s plea to Pb CM

JAMMU, Jan 29: Dy Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader (J&K) and MLA Bhaderwah, Mohd Sharief Niaz has appealed the Punjab Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal  to intervene into the matter regarding missing/ abduction of  Gujjar Bashir Ahmed, son of Noor Ali of Chopra in district Gurdaspur, who originally belongs  to Gandoh tehsil of Doda district.
Mr Niaz in a press statement said that Bashir was abducted by some miscreants from Gurdaspur area on January 23. His family has told that abductors said to have chopped off his one leg and arm and he went missing since then. He said that Kanowan police of the area has refused to lodge even an FIR into the case. Mr Niaz demanded that Punjab CM should intervene into the matter and help family in tracing the abducted man and take action against erring policemen.
