Durga Nagar Welfare Committee delegation meets Director CAPD

JAMMU, Aug 30:  A delegation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee led by its president Roshan Lal Raina today met the Director Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD)  S C Chib and apprised him of the problems of the relief holders.
The delegation informed the Director that many relief holders could not get ration including sugar, flour and rice for the month of August which is closing tomorrow and if this process continues the relief holders totally dependent on ration from Government will be put to lot of hardships.
The delegation demanded that the date of supply of ration for the month of August be extended up to September 5 and in near future the relief holders should be supplied ration up to 15th of every month.
The delegation also demanded release of ration to newly ration card holders which the Director informed them is under process and additional quota will be released soon.
The other members of the delegation included Nana Jia, Mohan Lal and Hira Lal members of the Committee.
