Durga Nagar residents meet Chairman JK Bank, CE PHE

JAMMU, Jan 11: A delegation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC) led by its chairman Roshan Lal Raina called on Chairman J&K Bank Parvez Ahmed and demanded that adequate staff be deployed at Durga Nagar branch of the Bank and an ATM of the Bank be established at Sector 2 immediately.
The chairman assured the delegation that both the demands will be met soon. The delegation also called on Chief Engineer, PHE and demanded construction of tube well and OHT in JDA Land in Durga Nagar so that the water crisis in the area are solved once for all. They complimented the CE for laying of pipes in Kailash Pati Lane and demanded that the water supply to the area be made functional immediately.
It also called on Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education, Atal Dullo and Director Health Services, Jammu and demanded fixing of proper rent for the dispensary to be opened in Durga Nagar.
Later the deputation called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, M L Raina and D C Relief, Dhar and complimented them for disposing off the pending bifurcation cases. The issue of community Hall at Durga Nagar was also discussed with them.
