JAMMU, July 16: A general body meeting of residents of Block-D, Durga Nagar was held here today under the chairmanship of AK Kothidar, wherein an adhoc body of Citizens’ Welfare Forum Block-D, Durga Nagar was constituted to bring the miseries of the people to the notice of the concerned authorities.
The meeting elected Mohan Lal Koul as chairman, Bihari Lal Raina as president, AK Kothidar as convener, Rajnath as general secretary and spokesman, BL Pandita as cashier and accountant, Kuku Ji Mattoo as organizer and Makhan Lal Dass as senior executive member.
The meeting expressed grave concern over the repeated failure of the electric transformer installed in the area and appealed Chief Engineer PDD to intervene personally into the matter.
