JAMMU, July 2: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Roshan Lal Raina.
While speaking, Raina alleged that despite lapse of seven months, the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Department has failed to issue the ration to the new ration card holders.
He added that people are facing problems due to non-availability of sugar at Government depots and appealed to the Minister for CAPD to look into the matter for early redressal.
Raina also appealed to the Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to submit the estimate cost of the development work to be carried out in Ward Number 64, so that the developmental work begins in the Ward.
