JAMMU, May 27: Dugar Manch today organized a book release function at Kundal Lal Saigal hall here in which two books written by Mohan Singh—‘Hirakh Sagatian’ and ‘Larein de Tabarein ch’ were released.
The function was presided over by Prof Ved Ghai while Narsingh Dev Jamwal was the chief guest.
‘Hirakh Sagatian’ is a collection of about hundered and one songs of different shades, majority of which are of romantic mood and have been sung by the famous singers like Sudersh Wadekar, Kavita Krishna Murthy, Sadhna Sargam, Mohd Aziz and Suraj Singh.
The second book ‘Larein de Tabarein ch’ is a collection of 51 poems pertaining to the present position of comman man, which is deteriorating day by day on the name of development.
On the occasion, Dr Sushma Rani and Dr Kuldeep Dogra presented their papers on the books of Mohan Singh.
The writer also recited some of the poems from his book ‘Larein de Tabarein ch’.
