JAMMU, July 9: VHP patron Dr. Ramakant Dubey expressed his deep concern over deteriorating conditions in the State especially in the Valley.
It seems during the present dispensation the anti national elements have completely spread their tentacles in Valley including other parts of the State as well, VHP senior leader, Dr Rama Kant Dubey told reporters here today.
He said increasing human losses especially of security force personnel are taking place for the last two-three months. A new strategy by the militants is to attack the forces and then merge in the public just to provoke security forces for retaliatory action & thereby provoking masses for violence.
He said public is also following their dictates and mostly has become a human-wall just to undo the action by the forces. Under such circumstances, it is very difficult rather impossible for the forces to counter the militants activities. It was a destructive action of militants especially in Pampore, where eight brave soldiers were lost. This has become almost a daily routine to attack the security forces and is increasing day by day. A dreaded militant, Burhan Wani was killed yesterday along with two others after losing so many dedicated, disciplined, and civilised soldiers of the world. Whether it is CRP, BSF or State Police personnel, the losses are increasing day by day, he added. He said the most difficult situation arises when militants after attacking security forces mix up in the public making it difficult for forces to trace them.
Dr Dubey said success of these marauders is totally impossible without public support in one form or the other. About month back a militant killed at Kud was being shielded by his brother who was a Government employee and allotted Government accommodations in Jammu which was a permanent undetectable shelter for the militants. It is also a mystery that possession of the Government accommodation meant for winter months was kept by the State functionary to shelter the militants.
Dr. Dubey highly appreciated the action of the forces who killed Burhan Wani the most dreaded militant Burhan Wani in Kukernag yesterday. It is very saddening that dedication of our brave soldiers is being negated by the support given by some politicians to subversives.
He took a dig on those politicians who are openly supporting the separatist and asked them to refrain from such remarks which are inimical to national interests.
Suresh Chander working president, Sukh Ram Sharma and others were also present in the press conference.
