DSSP to expose those ignoring public interest: Lal Singh

JAMMU, July 8: Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan Party (DSSP), chairman and former minister Ch Lal Singh reiterated its party’s stand of fighting for the interest of Dogras and pledged to expose all those forces inimical to the growth of the Dogras.
While addressing a gathering at his Kathua residence, Ch Lal Singh said that DSSP is struggling for the protection of the Dogra posterity and will never be demoralized by the temporary electoral counting of votes which are swayed at times with hollow sloganeering.
He called upon all his party workers to be always proactive and take the vision document to every nook and corner and make every worker well versed with the agenda of our movement. While addressing the gathering Lal Singh also expressed happiness on the release of funds for the Jambu Zoo which was hanging since my resignation from the department. But, it’s unfortunate that the original cast of the project has been reduced to 50 percent, which needs immediate attention of the Administration.
He also welcomed the Governor’s decision of the cancellation of the selection of candidates for 101 posts in Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) during PDP Government after an inquiry committee probed the issue of illegal appointments. The residents of the Kathua enthusiastically promised to support the cause he has taken up for the betterment of the Jammu and especially Dogra society. They also pledged to fully support the cause of DSSP in the recent Assembly elections.
Kanta Andotra, Ex- MLA expressed gratitude to the party workers who are standing like rock with the party despite provocation from various quarter. Dr Hari Dutt Shishu, general secretary, while addressing the gathering said that DSSP shall intensify its campaign in near future. He also called upon all the heads of the different units to ensure proper membership drive and make every Dogra, a strong asset of the party. Prof HR Sharma, Suresh Gupta, Member CWC also addressed the gathering.
