DSE to conduct inquiry into charges against ex-CEO

JAMMU, Jan 14: Government has appointed Director School Education (DSE), Kashmir as Inquiry Officer (IO) to look into the charges framed against the then CEO Budgam Nazir Ahmed Dar.
According to an official order, an inquiry under Rule 33 of Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules 1956, is being conducted against Nazir Ahmed Dar, the then Chief Education Officer, Budgam, presently attached with Director School Education Kashmir.
The charges memo was served upon the then CEO vide order No. Edu/Gaz-A/02/2015 dated 7.9.2015.
On examination of the reply to the Articles of charge submitted by the then CEO, the Government considered that an Inquiry Officer should be appointed to look into the charges framed against Nazir Ahmed Dar.
Therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by Sub-Rule (4) of Rule 33 Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, the Government has appointed Shah Faesal, Director School Education, Kashmir as the Inquiry Officer to look into the charges framed against Nazir Ahmed Dar.
Naseema Nazir, Under Secretary, School Education Department will be the Presenting Officer. The Inquiry Officer will submit the report within one month, the order said.
