JAMMU, Aug 27: On assuming the charge as Director School Education, Jammu, Smita Sethi visited SRML Government Higher Secondary School, Parade.
During the visit, she took stock regarding functioning of the school, viz its strength, availability of teaching staff, their punctuality and sanitation arrangements in the complex.
She also took stock of work done for the Smart Classes and infrastructure available for running the class, first ever in the Government Schools under Model School Scheme launched by the present Government.
It may be added that the scheme for establishment of model schools is aimed to provide adequate physical infrastructure by undertaking requisite addition and up-gradation in the school’s enrichment of the school environment by engaging children in co-curricular activities.
