Drug-peddler’s properties worth Rs 33.50 lakh attached

RAJOURI, May 30: In a major crackdown against drug trafficking, Rajouri Police has attached movable and immovable properties worth over Rs 33.50 lakh belonging to a notorious accused involved in multiple NDPS cases and booked under the PIT-NDPS Act.
A police official said that the attached properties belonged to Munshi Khan, son of Khan Mohd, a resident of Dhanour Dhindian in district Rajouri. The properties included- a single storey residential house valued at Rs 30 lakh and an electric auto valued at approx Rs 3.50 lakh.
The attachment was carried out under the provisions of Section 68-F of the NDPS Act by Police Station Rajouri after completion of all due legal formalities. The accused is involved in multiple cases registered under the NDPS Act at different police stations across District Rajouri, the police said.
