JAMMU, Apr 6: Police today arrested a drug peddler with 902 grams of ganja from Domana area here.
At Machine Domana area, a suspect, who was moving towards Raipur Domana, tried to flee on seeing the police, a police official said, adding, “But he was overpowered.”
He was identified as Raghu Ram of Chhattisgarh at present Samba, the police official said.
On search of his belongings, he said, 902 grams of ganja was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, the accused was booked in case FIR number 89/2025 under sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Domana and further investigation taken up, he added.
