JAMMU, Sept 11: A drug peddler was arrested with 200 grams of Ganja from Akhnoor area here today, officials said.
They said Pinku Kumar of Madhya Pradesh at present Karangi, Akhnoor, was arrested with the consignment by a team of Police Station Akhnoor led by SDPO Mohan Lal Sharma and SHO concerned, Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq during patrolling duty at Karangi.
The accused has been accordingly booked in case FIR number 257/2023 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Akhnoor and further investigation taken up.
